My story...
Angie, as she is more commonly called, was born and reared in Baltimore, Maryland. She is one of six children of Thomas and the late Mary E. Newman. She is the proud parent of Nicholas.
Angie was educated in the Baltimore School system. She graduated from Mergenthaler Vocational Technical High School and was the captain of the track & field team.
She is an active member of the Shiloh Christian Community Church; currently serving as the Artistic Director of the Silent Praise Mime Ministry. In years past, she served as President of the Sanctuary Choir and was a faithful member of the Young Adult Ministry. She loves her pastor, the Rev. Jimmy C. Baldwin, Sr., and has grown spiritually under his preaching and teaching for over 10 years.
Angie is a colorful and energetic dancer. She is known for her "weird" sense of humor and jovial laugh. It is often hard not to leave a conversation with Angie not laughing or smiling. She is known for her compassion and kind heart. She often quotes Maya Angelou's saying "...when people show you themselves, believe them, they are showing you who they are."
